So... This is my first ever tutorial. I wasn't really planning on doing one but *Iseanna :iconiseanna: kept asking me to do one since she always thinks my hair looks amazing. xP So here it is. I hope that anyone who sees it can get something out of it. Lol.

Technically, it's possible with SAI's vector tools... But it would take WAY more time than it's worth. D:

It's meant to be a tablet tutorial. :c Sorry

Hm... SAI's vector tools? It is harder than using a tablet, isn't it? Ahhh.... I really want a tablet ;A; Okay, thank you ^^

Yes! Next to the new layer button in SAI there is a button to create a new vector layer. you can use the curve tool to make some nice lines and use the pressure tool to change the thickness at certain points to make the line look much more natural and hand drawn. Vector layer is usually used in line art but it COULD be used if you didn't have a tablet to do hair like this. it would just take a super long time!
